Helge H. Grammerstorf, MD
Helge H. Grammerstorf started his career as an ordinary seaman and assistant officer. Finishing his study with a dissertation about “Financing of Cruise Vessels” and a final degree as Captain and Certified Commercial Engineer, he sailed onboard several cargo and passenger vessels in international services.
Following that he for some 10 years joined the group of shipping companies Aug. Bolten (ship owner), TT-Line and Olau Line (ferry operators) as well as subsidiaries including Trave Transit (catering services), Tourist Data (EDP-services and reservation systems) and Olau-Line (UK) Ltd., Sheerness, holding board positions as Personnel Manager, Technical and Managing Director and was appointed Vice President of Supervisory Board of the Swissair subsidiary SCI International Ship Catering AG, Zurich.
Subsequently he was Managing Partner of Hanseatic Cruises (managing owners of Hanseatic and Bremen) and Managing Director of Deutsche Seetouristik, Rostock, (special responsibilities for hotel operations and human resources) and Arkona Reisen, Frankfurt, (introducing the first club vessel Aida).
For more than ten years now Helge Grammerstorf is Managing Owner of SeaConsult HAM GmbH, a consulting and research firm specialized in international cruise business and financing of cruise vessels.
